I have been practicing podiatry in Long Beach for 22 years. As such the most important reason for our success is the careful, concerned and conservative approach to foot care. Indeed when a patient is under such duress, it becomes incumbent upon me to provide the proper diagnosis and least invasive techniques.
Committed to the health of your feet, my practice uses surgical correction only when all other facets of preventive foot care have been exhausted. Perhaps the simple notion of wearing the proper shoe with the proper fit is the solution. Or rather it may require corrections using various forms of wedges and orthotics to alleviate the pain. Using non-invasive techniques can resolve many forms of foot ailments such as plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and neuromas. Moreover, to help diagnose your problem and determine the best treatment for your particular problem, I look at your medical history, thoroughly examine your foot, and perform all pertinent tests. My experience has shown that educating my patients the proper techniques for choosing shoes and related foot supports will go a long way in establishing a healthy lifestyle. |
My practice is located in the outpatient building, adjacent to St. Mary Medical Center. All of my referring physicians know that I tend to be more conservative in my approach, and if follows, I will not give up in finding a resolution to my patients foot ailment. Surgery is used as a final option, performed only when all non-invasive techniques have been considered.
