Feet can produce a quarter of a cup of water per day and this can double during exercise. Breathable footwear is therefore essential to remove this moisture, but it is equally as important to have truly waterproof footwear.
High pressure in a microclimate created inside the shoe / boot forces vapour to breath out towards the low pressure climate outside the shoe. This process keeps the foot dryer and therefore warmer in cold weather and more comfortable in all conditions.

Rigid quality standards are enforced, production facilities all have to be licensed to use patented manufacturing techniques and every component including the leather outer and sole unit must be of the highest standard to match the GORE-TEX® lining.
1) Wind & rain completely blocked
2) Leather outer material
3) GORE-TEX® membrane
4) Polyester functional inner lining
5) Inner lining
6) Foot moisture vapours pass through the GORE-TEX® membrane
